A typical development cycle contains the following phases.

Planning
This often overlooked stage in development is perhaps one of the most important. In order for a project to be a success, careful research and planning must be conducted to determine exactly what is needed and how it should be implemented.

Design
Aesthetic value is often just as important to a project as the actual content itself. During this phase we sketch out and rework numerous design ideas for the client to choose from.

Pre-Production
During this phase, all the necessary information is gathered. Copy for webpages is written, video is shot, designs are finalized, etc.

Implementation
This is the phase where the magic happens. Finished graphics are created, code is written, video is edited, etc.

Launch
This is the completion of the cycle. Webpages go live, CD-ROMs are pressed and shipped, Brochures are printed, etc.
